misfire

computer code reader says one or more cylinders misfiring
i put in new plugs,2 new coil paks-they were under or at bottom limit, and ignition module checks good. but didnt make much difference.
it will start-but wont run good enough to drive. it wont idle-it does seem like a cylinder is misfiring--any ideas?? code reader says same code as before putting in new parts. thanks for any help!
this is a 96 sunfire-gt-2.4

Re: misfire

You need to do a compression check to see if it is losing compression

Re: misfire

Did you check the connectors between the coils and the plugs. They call them wires but they look more like connectors. I would replace the other two plugs at the same time. What code are you getting from the reader?
