Re: Pruis VS civic hybrid

The civic is much better to me. I don't like the look of the prius. I think that the civic is a little more acceptable because it looks like a regular car.

I agree, the prius is ugly and the civic looks ok, like a normal car. But when it comes down to it, the reason why your gonna buy a hybrid is the gas milage, and at 60city 51highway, the prius edges out the civic which is 45city 51highway.

I'd take the Prius. It's different, gets better mileage, and it was conceived with the idea in mind that it'd be a hybrid. I'd take it because it doesn't look like a regular car. It'd be easy to pick out in a parking lot, for instance.

Re: Pruis VS civic hybrid

I'd take that old GTR you have a picture of over both of them!

I too would probably get the Civic. The Prius is just a little too odd looking for me. The VW TDI models look better to me than either one, just to throw that out there.

Re: Pruis VS civic hybrid

Right now, the Prius. But the civic hybrid is getting redesigned, and things may change after the second gen civic hybrid gets out on the market.

probably the prius since, like someone already said, if you were looking to buy these cars, your main concern is gas milage in which the prius wins... plus, the car can park itself... if u live in japan

the prius is goofy looking

i'd take the civic, if 45 city isn't acceptable you can kiss my ass.

and if it were in the poll i'd take the vw tdi over both.
