Hello:
Can someone help me figure out how to do an overhead mobile dvd install in a 2002 Tahoe with a moonroof? The mobile DVD is a XO Vision GX2145 unit with an FM modulator. I am having the most problems on how to mount it into the roof panel. Also, since the unit has an FM modulator, is any hard wiring required to the stereo unit in the Tahoe? -- I don't think so. TIA, Ed |

Re: Overhead Mobile DVD Install - 2002 Tahoe with Moonroof
Depends on where exactly you want to mount it. Most audio shops will cut your headliner and screw it into the roof cage. Some take down the center map lights and install the unit inplace (usually units with lights).
How to wire everything -- Not sure. However, nothing HAS to be hardwired if it is supplied with the external power cord. |
