Brakes
Hey I was wondering can anyone tell me why when I brake hard or in the rain my brakes make a weird sound. I have ABS on my 99 Cav. and when the abs kicks in and release I get this sound that sounds like some one grabbing a metal pipe that is fixed to something and pulling it back and letting go. Sorta like a twang. It doesn't happen all the time thou. I try and make it happen to show people and it won't or they say they didn't hear it. Can anyone help out??

I agree that is how it works but I have never had that sound on any other car I have ever owned with ABS and I have tested it out with other Cav of the same year. They don't make the same noise.
