Question P0741

ok - I have the code now. It reads P0741. Any insights on this code? I have to make my journey to Gatlinburg next Friday morning and need to know if I am going to make it without a stop at the mechanics. This code does not come up on the diagnostic equipment, so the mechanic will have to consult some book and get back to me regarding the results. Not that I am not a trusting person, but women and mechanics don't always go together. Just want to make sure that I don't get some long winded bs answer.

Re: P0741

I tell you what, the more I read, the more scared I get! I have found that it could be a simple as an o-ring needing to be replaced to the enire torque covnerter needing replaced. I cart 5 kids around with me and the thought of breaking down scares me to death. They range from 4 - 16 and I don't want to be broke down with them. I bought this to gain the peace of mind that comes with a newer vehicle. What I would not give to have my old chevy back. I am dropping it off at a mechanic tomorrow for work, we will see.
