You could post some pics so we can see what you are talking about.

Wouldn't imagine the instructions would be much different from 2nd to 3rd gen, supposing that is what you have.

Re: flip flop trunk mod

hey man you have it all wrong. but that might work. i have a flip flop trunk on my car. i bought it off an ebay website but that shit is a rip off. the guy gave me instructions on for a car that has the brackets for a civic and my brackets are under a sheet of metal so i dont know how it would have worked but after a long time of thinking i figured it out. and then a day later i found the instructions online for a 3rd gen cavi. lol. what a bitch. go to my car domain website and i have the instructions posted there.

I just bought the flip flop trunk kit off ebay.....I hope that it will work ok. My cavalier is basically stock.......at least for now. I have a set of 12'' Volfenhag Subs that are 1000 watts a piece and a Pyramid 2400 watt amp. I just bought the flip flop trunk, green neon underbody kit, a new muffler, two 10'' neon tubes, and "scatter lights" off ebay.

Re: flip flop trunk mod

I did it to my 98 z24 and it wouldn't seal flush on the sides. I am a welder and put a cross bar in between the two arms this created more support and stablity for a better seal on the sides and the top.
