FULL trans FLUSH?

Okay, Its about time to change fluid and filter again.
I have changed the trans fluid and filter before with no problems.
This was done by dropping the pan, draing oil, and adding new filter with o-rings.
I know this only drains about 50 to 60% of the fluid.
This time I want to drain the most possible fluid that I can do!

Anyone have any special way to drain the extra fluid? what lines I should look at and so on?

Right now the tranny is over filled! atleast by 2-3qtrs.
Been like that for almost 1/2 a yr. (additive Lucas)
What problems can occur from having too much fluid?

I have been having a few shifts problems lately. And I think the fluid levels have something to do with it.

Car shifts through all gears. Normally goes into OD around 45mph
I did recently replace the transmission modulator valve.
This did change my shifting pattern!
+ or - 5MPH through gear range. All depending on how the modulator valve was adjusted.

Before I couldnt shift out of 1st gear at all. All of a sudden. Till I bought a new modulator valve. 20$. Guy at autozone said I had a Shift kit on mine, when I brought the old part in. This thing was 5 times the size of a Transmission Modulator Valve from the factory issued.

Car hasnt missed a shift since that.
I do have the typical 4t60e shudder; been doing that for more than 3yrs. Which is alot less noticeable since I put the new modulator on.

Jiffy lube and some other quick lub places can do a complete system flush for you. They disconnect the cooler lines and feed new fluid in, as the trans pumps fluid out into a seperate resivor. If you want to change the filter, you still have to pull the pan.

I am going to pull the pan.
Thats not the problem.
I know Im going to get out about 60% that way.
I just wanted to know If someone knows which cooler line to disconnect. So that trans pump can pump dirty fluids out.
And when I observe clean fluid, re-attach the line.

I will be putting in new fluid and filter at same times..

I just dont want to pay somewhere to pump it for me.

Take the two lines off of the trans cooler or radiator, and start the engine, one of them will have fluid pumping out of it! Suck fluid into the other one.

Then there will still be a small amount in the cooler.
