arrrggh... incubus...

Why, oh why must you disappoint me so?

I really hope their songs off of the Stealth soundtrack are the worst of the bunch from their new album, because if these songs are a representation of their next album, I'm scared.

ACLOTM was a chore to get through the whole album. Upon further listening, there are a few little gems in there, such as Sick Sad and Pistola. But overall, the album has pretty much zero energy. When compared to S.C.I.E.N.C.E. or Morning View, it's essentially worthless.

Please, please, please, please, please, let the new Incubus album be everything that an Incubus album SHOULD be.

Yeah, Morning View is by far my favorite album, I think they slowly started getting, oh, more out of taste in my opinion after that cd.

Make Yourself is by far their best album in my humble opinion.

Morning View and SCIENCE were also gems.

i haven't yet heard A Crow Left in it's entirety.

but hey, it's Stealth. the movie looks like an hour and a half of asshole, with the worst plot i've heard of in a while, so why should the soundtrack be any better? hopefully they'll come through.

That's pretty much our only hope, both the soundtrack and Incubus are with Sony Music so hopefully it was just a contractual obligation.

I loved Fungus Amongus, SCIENCE, and Make Yourself. Stopped listening to them after Morning View, didn't care too much for it.

oo that's a shame.. you should give it another try. It's pretty much completely different than their first three albums, but the style of Make Yourself really helps usher in the new Morning View style. After listening to the album for a while, it will evoke a very retrospectively outstanding feeling. It's the kind of album that will make you look back from ten years from now and say 'man, that was such an amazing and wellrounded music record'.

Give it another shot, because personally, the first three songs, while not flawless, are like the holy trinity of chilling music.

Mmhm, and they even have a hard rock song in the vein of S.C.I.E.N.C.E. on there, Under My Umbrella.
