Mini-Me?

I've been reading about the whole Mini-Me swap, and I'm really interested. How much does a swap like this cost, just the parts? Anyone have any good links about the conversion?

IMO i don't think its worth it. I was gonna do it but found it that its gonna cost too much. It should cost close to 1000. I think u should just go with a full sohc v-tec swap.

I agree...I actually started it and never finished it...you spend way more money than you think you will b/c its alot more than just a head that you'll need. I dont like the swap....too unreliable in my mind....depending on the deal you get on the engine, you anc sometimes to a full sohc vtec swap for the same price...

..but anyway, here's a how-to page.. http://crx.honda-perf.org/articles/z6swap/z6swap.html

Wink

I think that I got my D16Y8 for around $500.00. with an Si or a DX tanny. It took about 6 hours to put in. get the polypropline front and rear($25) mount inserts, and an aftermarket clutch($400 ACT). Its worth it!:monkeypis

If I wasn't getting a new engine I'd do it, your just putting the same parts on that the factory didn't but, would of. As long as you do it right, but follow the link above
