2-12" subwoofer installation help 1997 Civic

I've got two MTX 12" subs that are already contained in abox that I bought from Crutchfield. I was needing some explanation in how to wire to the fuse box. I alrady have every thing else set up. I just need help in this. I was told that the fuse box that I was supposed to wrap my connection to would be labeled radio but it's not.Where is it!!!!!!!!!!!

Why are you wiring it to the fuse box? It should go to the battery.

Re: 2-12" subwoofer installation help 1997 Civic

The amplifier needs a wire hooked directly to the battery. Crutchfield has a nice little diagram on how everything goes. http://www.crutchfieldadvisor.com/S-...rs_wiring.html

If you have anymore questions let me know.
