1996 Bonneville SE Remote Programming

Would anyone have the process to program the remote for a 1996 Bonneville? Appreciate any information you might be able to share.

If you are trying to program a remote that you replaced the battery in, just stand near the rear of the car, press and hold the lock and unlock buttons at the same time for approx. 10 seconds. You should see the lights flash and horn churp when the cycle is complete.
At least that is what it says in my manual and what worked for me.
