HVAC Panel Change

I bought this for my car bc. it is different. I know how to take off the dash panel around the HVAC. How do i take my knobs off the HVAC without breaking them?also, i need to take off the HVAC panel to put this on, is this easy?any directions? Thanx in advance. |

part 1 done right there..i've never looked at that part but im sure if you take the dash off, unscrew the unit and remove the three connectors in back you will be able to take it in your house and figure out how to change them |

You didn't say what year your car is, but 97-03 GP's have a one piece dash that surrounds the guage cluster, radio and HVAC units. The dash just pulls off, it is held in place by several spring clips. Make sure you unplug the fog light switch as it comes out with the dash. The knobs on the control unit just pull off as well.

My car is a 1997 with the three knob dials. I figured out how to take the knobs off. There seems to be a little rom between the dash n HVAC panel so when i get it I am going to see if this will fit right over it before i start ripping anything else apart.
