1990 ford e350 fuel pump problem

I have a 1990 ford Winnebago Motor HOme and I am having fuel pump problems after shutting it off and letting it set. It will not start do to the fuel pump not running. No check engine light. NOthing. If I take the batter terminal off for about 10 sec. and reconnect it will start and run fine. NO side effects such as loss of power. NOthing. Shut it down and let it set over night. Same thing happens. Any one have any ideas?

Re: 1990 ford e350 fuel pump problem

Well it's electircal, I'm sure of that.

There are three connectors that could cause this, one under the master cylinder, one under the driver's seat inside the left frame rail, and another near the fuel tank. If the terminals or wires are corroded, the pump may not get enough voltage.

Also, if the fuel pump relay or it's sires are corroded (near the left headlight) you can have similar troubles.

Also check all the battery connections, make sure they are clean and tight.
