My new WIP c6 vette

HEres my new c6 work in progress. the colour is as close of a match as I could get to sunset orange Metallic. Its no where near as nice as the other orange c6 on here. Not sure if i should go with grey for the interiror or go with a tan colour.

thanks fo r the kind words. I think ill do the dash in gray and the rest of the interior in tan. I still have to clear the body yet and have to touch up a couple blemishes onthe hood and roof panel. it looks like a decent kit lots of parts and some nice detail mixed in

The 1:1 seems a little redder...those infernal corvette colors!!! I like your color tho. Tan interior would be great with this. Good luck with the rest of the build.

Nice paint.
That color suits the car well.
What brand and color did you use?

It actually has a hint more brown; in full sunlight, it looks like a gloriously darker version of the old Sunset Orange. In shade, it looks like....poop. I loved this color when I saw the initial pictures, but it is definately not a shade-color.

I think it may be the flash, but this one looks a little light...still a pretty color though!

You made me happy, I was afraid to get in here and see a Millenium Yellow one...

THe colour is a ppg paint i got mixed at work. its a close match to the colour swatch i had for sunset orange metallic. The actual name of the colour is SUNBIRD ORANGE METALLIC. I think I will do the dash in black and flow the black into the top of the door panels and console, then do the rest of the interior in tan with silver accents like the vettes have. But first i need to finish the 69 camaro im building for the wife.
