95 Hyundai Accent Spark Problem

hey all, i ve been having a problem with my spark plugs and wires......

well i have replaced them both at least 3 times in the last 4 months to see if something was defective......... here's the problem

On the cylinder closest to the passenger side the spark plug wire will spark outside of the boot instead on the spark plug itself....it makes the engine skip up and go crazy so i have to end up shifting it manually to make the rpms go a higher so it wont stutter....no check engine light comes on or anything

plz help

Are you using NGK plugs?

I have the NGKs and some generic wires. Had problem with wires and plugs. Seems to work well now with NGKs and new wire. Sounds like you've tried some things.
