Arrow Remember my 85 Rebuild thread?

http://photobucket.com/albums/b82/anghellicdan/zx550/

That's what I've done up till about a wk ago, I'm still waiting on my forks, traded my CB1100 for a fork rebuild. Is tthere anyone in here that's ridden or has an old GPZ? Just curious, I'm sure someone in here started on a kz550 or zx550, no?

I have an 85 GPZ600R my mate had a 82 zx550 and i bought it off him for $250 AU it came with workshop manual, spare gaskets, rings and whole bike in bits.
it was immaculate and only had 17,340 (Ks not Ms) on the clock, the other one (in pices) had 40 odd Ks. I sold it for $800 8 months ago, and threw out the one in peces.

Re: Remember my 85 Rebuild thread?

Ouch... When I get something like this bike I see it as a personal challenge (betcha can't do this one!) so I have to accept it. This one in particular kicked my ass, but I'm almost done.
