2001 740iL: The buttons on the air conditioning control panel are sticky (probably due to a spilled drink). Is there a way to clean them without removing the control panel unit?

Re: Sticky Buttons
Take a damp rag and wipe it off.

Try spray silicone with staw on nozzle. Use just a little bit. Same problem on my 01 750. Don't think its a drink, my Home link buttons stick as well.
