My friend owns a 1997 Mercury Tracer, the same as an escort....I've been trying to hunt down some doors online. She was in an accident and her rear driverside door is smashed it. It's gonna need some work on the hinges to get the door to fit right....anyway..I've looked all over and don't really have time to go to the junk yard just yet...if anyone can give me any sites...that would help a lot.....thanks.

Try car-part.com you can check a large number of wrecking yards in your area as well as prices. They will also ship if need be. The only other place I can think of is e-bay.

Doors are so heavy, its not really feasable to ship them, so you best bet is the local wrecking yards. Just give them a call, a tracer/escort is a very common vehicle, so you should have no problems locating a door. Let them know that you need the hinges too.
