Engine Problems in a 2001

Hey I am new to the forum and I was wondering if someone could help me out. I have a 2001 Jeep Cherekee Sport and it shakes when I am stopped more than it did before. When the fan goes on it's worse. Please help a newbee. Thanks.

Sounds like you have a fan problem or water pump troubles. Try turning the fan and water pump by hand and check for wobbles also check the fan blades. Fan blades and pump assembly should be checked ,you don't want a fan blade comming off. CHECK TO SEE IF WATER PUMP ISN'T LEAKING AND POSSIBLY BAD. If it seizes up you will have real problems Also check motor mounts and transmission mount. Questions holler [email protected] Dale
