Re: reverse headlight conversion?

One word. WHY?? You lose visibitly with worse lighting. Wiring it is alot harder sice you have to come up with a way to power the pop up motor plus the way the lights are wired to turn on is much harder to work correctly. It CAN be done but its not wise and not worth the hassle in my opinion.

I happen to like the pop-ups myself...but being a '93 owner, perhaps i'm bias I've never had any issues with visibility. Mine are brite as hell...

The easiest way to do it, i would say, is to find someone who wants to convert their gen. 1 fascia to a gen. 2 (shouldnt be too hard), then just "trade" parts. Youll have to run a switch for the pop-up, or if u know how to wire, its not that hard to make them pop when the lights are turned on. (make friends with the installers at Circuit City or Best Buy)

If you cant find anyone, check e-bay. Alot of people who convert to the 99 style sell their parts there.
