New Pet

My girlfriend and i had been lookin at kittens for a couple weeks and finally got one. My friends girlfriends parents own a pet store and we got him for free so it was worth it. My girlfriend named him Ron (anchorman).

Small, cute, fluffy mammals make my tummy rumbly. I want to eat it.

Kidding! We got a kitten once that they were about to put to sleep . . . she had been taken from her mother too soon, and weighed less than a pound. She's now a healthy (if eccentric) adult cat, and weighs around eight pounds.

I've got three cats, and all i can say is get a car cover! Nothing pisses me off more than when I'm detailing my car and one of the cats jumps up on the freshly washed hood from the dirt and gravel driveway to check out what I'm doing. Or when I get home from a night of drinking and don't want to mess with the cover and come out the next morning to see a racing stripe of paw prints, complete with streaks where they slide down the windshield.

One of my two cats got killed by a dog Wednesday (just found out about it yesterday, had been going around to shelters to see if animal control had picked him up or something, but turned out that a neighbors dog got loose and mauled him).

Anyways, I'm probably going to get another one so my other cat has a pal...

That looks like a fine kitten though. Ron Burgundy is the balls.

Re: New Pet

Dangit, you need to get a HUGE cat to go teach that dog a thing or two about messing with cats. We have five cats that hate dogs with a passion. Everytime one comes around, they run straight for it and start running around it and taking swings at it with their claws.

The kittens name reminds me of something

"Mr Burgundy, you have a massive erection."

Re: New Pet

the reason that picture came out small is because you zoomed in with your camera phone. If you just leave it on regular zoom it will be regular size.

cool cat. I love cats.

Lol, thats the first quote from the movie that everyone says too. I just want the cat to be able to kick my sisters shit-zus ass. Wont be anytime soon though. Kitten needs to grow just a tad.

Re: New Pet

awwww how cute. My husband wishes I would bring home animals that aint that much to feed. I braught home 2 fully grown Great Danes yesterday. They were abandoned and left for dead. They were half starved, all bones. So I felt sorry for them and braught them home. I gave them some food ( 25 lbs each) and they ate it all and wanted more. I never thaught a dog could eat so much!!!!!!! ouch

I hate seeing animals like that. Have you ever watched Animal Cops on Animal Planet? So many people buy animals and then realize they cannot afford to take care of them, or aren't responsible enough. So instead of bringing them to a shelter they just leave them outside or on the road to die. Makes me sick.
