94 k 1500 leaking trans fluid

My 94 k 1500 ext is leaking trans fluid from the rear drive shaft seal. I replaced the seal and it is still leaking. Is the fluid in the transfer case where the rear shaft goes in separate from the reg trans fluid? my trans fluid levels have not changed but I am losing fluid.


Also I had the trans rebuilt about 3 yr ago it seams to not want to go for a sec. when you first put it in rev. Could the filter and fluid just need to be changed?

Well got the bad news today from the trans shop, needs to be rebuilt again.
