Warning Lights
On my 2001 Jimmy xlt, I have two warning lights showing up on dash board. One is the abs light and the other is the brake light. They come on when I start the car, and stay on till I shut it off. But they do not always come on. I took it to a mechanic and he says I am getting a c0265 ebcm relay circuit error. My question is do you think this is a situation where I will have to have the ebcm module replaced or that it is a wiring issue. I look at some of threads on this site, and beside the light being on giving me issues, I have no trouble braking or hear no noise when the car is cut off. I also have not been in a situation where the abs system had to be ingaged. But the mechanic did say that my abs system is fine and so is my brakes.
any info whould be appreciated, thanks. |

Re: Warning Lights
Why not just replace the relay.

Re: Warning Lights
not expensive at all.
For testing, just swap the fuel pump relay with the AC relay beside it and if the pump works, you found your problem.
