(1998 Silhouette)While traveling to Denver, I notice that my floor was getting wet with water,it isn't antifreeze.. There was no rain around. My AC is causing this I believe. How do I fix this. The floor is getting soaked.

I also seem to remember a TSB (Tech. Service Bulletin) that said if you drive at highway speeds for a long time, the air flowing through the engine compartment has a tendancy to push the water back into the tube and hold it there. This may cause the water to "wick" around the tube and leak into the passenger compartment. The TSB said to install a small 90 degree "elbow" on the end of the tube to prevent this (about $5 from dealer). Take Care,

Re: Re: Driver side floor wet
Is this a common problem & does yours do it? and If I push the cleaner in too fat, could I damage something?
I'll call the dealer for the 90% angle. |

The TSB says to mark the "wire" at 4.75 inches, and not to put it in any further than that. I don't know if it is a "common" problem, but if any leaves, bugs, etc., get into the system (I have found MANY small leaves on top of my filters - back of glove box), they could get wet from the condensation and stick inside there. Let us know what you find. Take Care,

We had same problem on our 2000 Silo. I would drive barefoot and get a foot bath every now and then. The drain tube was clogged on ours, and mechanic got it cleaned out.
