zc block w/ sohc non vtec
i just bought a used engine for my 89 civic dx with a si conversion on it. Just wondering about the the engine i got..the engine block mark ZC with a sohc NON VTEC head and it comes w/ carb or maybe two injector only. I thought that ZC engines comes w/ DOHC only. Please, anyone tell me the spec on this engine. THANKS

That sohc zc is basically a d16 nonvtec (si engine)

Yes there are sohc ZCs, But all zc's should be mpfi.
