I resent that.

I resent that for Kartoonz too.

I also resent ill flavored envelope adhesive, and some vegetables.

Oh I do however like your toons.

The twist and funk you are using is cool but may be a tad over done. Think about adding the twist and funk with the flow of your drawing maybe intoon (my old company name) with your line of action or in-action however you wanna look at it. Lance Sorchik is a master at twisting toons check him out.

notice the twist and distort but just to the edge of believability.

Keep'em comin...you got chops.

Re: ford mustang gt500

i like kartoons if they're really good.

i think to do a good kartoon is actually very difficult. most kartoons are sort of mediocre to tedious to look at. and many are variations of the same kartoon kars that are seen as avatars, like the overdone R34 kartoon.

to do fresh work is hard. and is rare to see. off the top of my head, lemorris, roboduck, and kartoonz do great work.

Re: ford mustang gt500

frag, there's a first time for everything. you did pretty good. doing toons is an entirely different "planet." you must actually be really good at realism, only then to stylize it. the art of it is knowing what to "funk and twist," as lemorris says, and what not to.

it is like a funky bass player: a lot of the genius of it is knowing what NOT to play, and when not to play it.

Re: ford mustang gt500

Both drawings are awesome! I especially like the rims on the Mustang. But the best part: if you look at the headlights of the truck, it looks paranoid! lol

Keep up the good work

Alex
