Exaust on A Budget??
Does anyone have suggestions on the best exaust for my buck?? I have found on groupbuy an apex world sport exaust for 409.25 with shipping. Thats about all I have to spend but I would like to get an undercar kit with it. So I want an under car kit + an exaust for less than 400. The exaust doesnt have to be a catback. I don't realy care for the hp, just the sound and looks. Thanx for the help.

Cool, But where did you get it from?? I also found it a little cheaper. 407 instead of 409.

Well, if you don't care if it's cat-back or not, just get a muffler. I recommened the Apexi Dunk muffler, which you can probably score for $200.00 or less.

you can do what i did, i got a 12" glassed packed muffler, a 2" 90 degree elbow, and a 3.5" tip for 50, and my dad and I tig welded the muffler elbow and tip on ourselves, so we saved 30 bucks. I would've got something worth while, but im getting rid of the car and wanted to replace the stock muffler because it had holes in it so i went cheap

If you don't care about cat-back, Thermal R&D makes a rear-section system that is bolt on... think you can get one for around $250... haven't heard anything about the rear-section system but the cat-back is suppossed to be bad ass... nice sound and all.

if you don't care about hp then go for the dunk. But IMO i would go with a catback, I've had it almost a month now and I am so happy with it.

While we're on the subject has anyone heard anything about PaceSetter heads/exhaust? Their in like, every magazine but I've never heard of anyone actually buying one, yet they're really inexpensive... or are you getting what you pay for with them?

You could get an exhaust from a Civic Si (bigger than stock 2" diameter piping) for real cheap from someone who just swapped it out. Or get a generic muffler with some piping welded to it at a muffler shop.

I found a greddy evo exhaust slightly used for 250 so i'm getting that and then I have a friend who is into the "showtruck world" and she is getting me a under car kit off a show truck that is upgrading for 75, so over all, I'm doing pretty good right now.
By the way, what do ya'll think of the greddy evo cat-bac system??
