A fellow member and I were talking about this kit. We were going to build these, as a contest against each other. But I know most of you probably have this kit. It is old, but was reissued often. So, I encourage anyone to please join in.
It's not really a contest, just a build it up, show it off. I saw these built up in a magazine a while ago. It is the simplest kit I have ever seen. It has virtually no detail. That's whre you all come in. Turn this blank canvass into a beauty.

Rules: Build box stock, rather, use all the parts in the kit! Detail, such as engine detail is allowed. If you want to make it with different parts, they must be scratchbuilt, but you msut use all the parts in the kit. Decals are an exception. You can decorate the body any which way you want.

Deadline: October 1st. That is a very generous time for something this simple.

This is one of those kits I don't remember buying, but just found one day going through my workshop. And I got it years ago, before I was back into it.

What's the word on wheels and tires?

I have a cool idea for the paint, but I don't know how well it will work. It's a sort of mirror/negative design I have been wanting to try for a long time now.

What are the rules regarding engine aftermarket parts? I think we should allow distributor kits, since the engine is exposed and it's hard to get detail a stock one (I forget what the stock one even looks like).
