How do i conserve room?
I drive my Honda daily as a delivery driver and i have to carry a lot off stuff. I had to take my 10's out of the back but i want to put them back in. Where could i put them where they won't get in the way?

Re: How do i conserve room?
You could put one on either side of the trunk, like behind the wheel well, in that area. You could also, although being an everyday driver I wouldn't recommend it, build a custom set up and put them where your spare tire goes.

Re: How do i conserve room?
i don't know about for your car, but www.crutchfield.com has them for some cars I believe, and JL makes stealth boxes, they sell them through Tweeter, I would assume that those would fit any 10 inch sub. Other than that, your best option is to build one yourself.

Make your own with fiberglass. Something like this: http://web.njit.edu/~cas1383/proj/Glassing2/index.htm But personally I'd make it smaller and make 2 of them; one for each side.

Re: How do i conserve room?
If you need as much space as possible i think making a custom fiberglass box in the extra tire space would be the best route. There are many tutorials on how to do it. You might think about getting a single 12" to save more space.
I personally think having a spare tire is a MUST. If you dont care about a spare....go for it. If you dont want a passenger seat....strip it out and put your box there for laughs. |
