YS1 can be 1 of 3 transmissions. 92-93 LS/RS/GS used a YS1 that has long gears and sucks. 92-93 GSR uses a YS1 that has awesome short gears and kicks ass. JDM integra XSi uses a YS1 and it has the same gears as the USDM YS1 92-93 GSR, but it has the option of LSD. Also, 90-91 USDM integras came with an S1 tranny that has the long crappy gears. some JDM b16a came with an S1 that has short gears and a 4.40 final drive which is identical to the JDM J1 tranny.
as far as determining your b16a, one of the easiest and quickest methods would be to look at the intake manifold. a JDM B16A from a civic/CRX SiR will have a dashpot valve on the throttle body, but on the intake right after the throttle body will look like there is supposed to be a sensor but the holes arent drilled. On a JDM integra b16a, there will be the dashpot and the air boost valve as well which is on the intake manifold right after the throttle body.
you can also look at the number below "b16a" on your block. if it begins with a 5, then its an SiR B16, if it begins with a 1, then its an integra B16 (or maybe its the other way around lol )
