Angry Damn It Revell!!!

I went to Hobby Lobby for its 1/2 off sale and bought a Porsche GT1 Evo and the fitment of it SUCKS,
looks like it was a mold problem or a packaging probelm. Can anyone help? Can I exchange it for another one or do I have to call Revell?

Re: Damn It Revell!!!

Take it back to HL first and see if they will exchange it. If not you'll have to go through Revell and send them $3 or so for a replacement.
Good luck
Chris

Re: Damn It Revell!!!

Just add hot water. You can fix that. Might not be that easy with that. Dam, that kit looks fuxored...Is that the newest history channel release? They shoudl've used a harder compound plastic when they made these, and other bodies like this. I got mine when they were newish. It was still a little messed up. Wait, was this origionally the dragon tool? Good luck man.

Re: Damn It Revell!!!

By some reason i´ve noticed these `rapid packaging` is an Revell issue I´ve never seen it in an AMT kit, and nevernever in a box hailing from a japanese manuf. How come?
Are the Revellboxes slightly to small?

Take it back to the store, if you have a receipt you need to show them why you are returning it and simply ask for another to replace it. Warped bodies have always been a problem w/this particular kit. Make sure the replacement is better. None of them may be perfect.

And I thought "Damn It Revell!!!" was because they just cancelled the CRX tuner kit that's been announced for a couple of years but constantly delayed .

Try blaming Dragon - the Japanese manufacturer who tooled and produced that kit for Revell - instead of Revell.

Re: Damn It Revell!!!

Maybe that was a reason why it was half off. . J/k. Return it with a receipt. They will always except returns when products are flawed. But be careful, some places don't except returns when you bought the item on sale.

Well if Revell don't want the flack, then they shouldn't put their name on it should they?
