fuel pump

hi all i just putmy engine back into my 1989 daytona and cant seem to get my fuel pump to work the pump is only one month old. i drove it twice with this fuel pump before rebuilding the engine anyone know what all has to be hooked up for the pump to work and where i can splice in a hot wire to see if the pump is any good?
your help is greatly appreciated as i need
this car runnin by tuesday

nope all i here is a relay clicking like crazy i replaced that relay and still clicking and the fuel pump is not running at all.

Check the Fuel Injector Harness connector, Fuel Injector Harness ground, and all engine to body ground, and battery to engine/body ground connections.
