I have an '02 with a 5.3L, Flowmaster exhaust and other stuff. Anyone put headers on their truck and if so, was the power increase noticable? Also, what about the EGR (does this truck have it and if so cand headers still be installed)? Any input would be appreciated. THANKS!!!

Re: Headers..
yes you can put headers on it, I put on short tube headers, very little power difference. It did sound better, though.... I would buy mid length or long tube headers, this will require modification of the exhaust pipes. They will provide more noticable power difference. The egr is fine, just make sure you get the headers that match your truck....

Re: Headers..
Check out this site: http://www.performance-exhaust-heade...let/index.html There is a header for every chevy truck imaginable. TOG are supposed to be some of the best (for GM setups anyway)
