*WIP* - Gordon Cingular Nascar 03

Recieved the kitset for the 2003 Monte Carlo Chev, and acquired Slixx decals for the Cingular Wireless livery.

This is first non-tamiya model for a long long time so the quality of my build is likely to be pretty shabby as im not used to having to clean up the kitsets too much...

Heres a couple of progress photos so far, not much done on it but working away at it.

Hey, Great job so far!! nice to see more nascar!.

yes very differant from tamiya models lol.

i do recommend thinning the body around the wheel openings, on the real car the sheet metal is paper thin. and revell has made it Very thick for some reason on the newer kits.

Apologies for the slow progress had a few set backs:

- no suspension in this car, was all warped and terrible so left majority of it out.
- Apologies for the bridgestone tyre decals, kitset didnt come with any tyre decals!!!!!!! (very disappointing)


Next step is to paint the body up, this will happen within a few days.

Car is very standard and stock, not much details apart from a bit of wiring inside the cockpit and a photoetch belt set.

none of the 2003 + kits come with tire decals. its because of licensing fees that goodyear wants...

you can get the goodyear decals form slixx though, they are what i use
