Left wheel ticking, service engine soon?
Last night I was driving my car and I was in 4th gear doing about 35 mph and my car started to buck as if it wasn't getting enough gas or something.. and soon the problem went away with acceleration but then my service engine soon light came on. I need to change my oil, because it hasn't been done in 5,000 miles, which is going to be done tomorrow morning. Also, there has been a ticking noise in my left front tire for the past 100 miles or so, and when the service engine soon light came on, the noise just became worse. My boyfriend tried to be smart and see what the check engine code was to check it in my chilton's.. but all he did was reset the light so it doesn't come on anymore. Please, someone help me!

If the condition still exists that lit the ses it will relight. Take it to an autozone and have the codes pulled. What year and model is your satty?

Re: Left wheel ticking, service engine soon?
try this method of pulling the codes - http://www.differentracing.com/tech_...diag_info.html
for the ticking, is it there when stoped? only when moveing? related to vehicle speed? engine speed? check fluid levels(start with transmission)
