fuel problem

I am working on a Tahoe with a vortec engine. The problem is it wont run. It cranks over fine and the fuel pump is working. I am getting fuel at the rail. If I put starting fluid in the intake it will run as long as I put it in there. plz help. thx.

What the fuel pressure at? Needs to be around 50 - 60 PSI to run.

Hey I am having the same problem with my 98 tahoe. If I put a gauge on main line in the engine compartment I have aroung 15-20 with out plugging the return line. Going to take the line loose before the filter and test the pressure there next. I put in a new filter and pump about a year ago.
