94 SSEi - where is PCM?

I am going to replace my PCM with a new one from a pontiac dealer. I believe it is located under the dash / glovebox wall area. Do I need to keep the same eprom chip as the old one or since I am replacing with new original GM part is already contains the exact match? thanks

Found PCM under passenger side dash. Removed PCM. Removed chip from old PCM and plugged in to new PCM. Installed new PCM in car. Car runs fine.

Do you have a pic of what the pcm looks like? I see my comp but i don't see the pcm. What are the signs of the pcm going bad?

My 95 ran really bad but would not show any codes, I replaced the PCM with one from a transport van and it ran fine.
