Van overheating belt breaks again

We are having problems with the 98 voyager. When we got it the pully's were changed out because it was squeeking. Then it started squicking when we had the ac on. Then the belt broke. It was replaced and started sqeeking again. When the AC is on in traffic it gets over heated. Cut the AC off and start rolling and we are good again. Changed the surpentine belt in Jan because it broke, and it just broke again. The fan switch has been changed and all belts. The sound is annoying when it squeels. What is left to do?

I've had a at least two replacement tension pulleys that were out of allignment. Cheap belt squeeled and eventually broke, Gates belt gripped and shreaded itself in a day. Finally figured out the the pulley bracket was bad.

Hope this helps!

Sounds to me like your air conditioning pump/bearing is on it's way out.
