Re: 94 cutlass 3.4 wont start
Pull a spark plug out, connect it's spark plug wire and ground the threads on something metal, have somebody else try to start the motor, observe the spark plug for "spark" when you try to start the motor?
What happens? |

ok i just got done changing the front 3 plugs, and i couldnt get to the back 3, but i tried to start it up with just the front changed and it started right up. so it seems that it was the plugs and wires. Now i just need help on how to get the back 3 changed. thanks

Re: 94 cutlass 3.4 wont start
People tell me to disconnect the dog bone (top motor mount) and with the shifter in park, pull the car toward you to rock the entire motor over to access the back cylinders.

Re: 94 cutlass 3.4 wont start
With the parking brake set, try your crowbar with the trans in neutral.

Re: 94 cutlass 3.4 wont start
Please don't try to rock your 3.4 forward, they don't, unless your lower mount is shot. The roll instructions are for the 3.1 engine not the 3.4.
