Re: Horsing Around...

Actually, 95 mph isn't fast at all to me. 95 feels like goin 45 mph. I'm just too used to it and my car handles it well, for a Saturn. Too bad the tranny doesn't allow me to go higher than 100.

maybe its because i live in virginia... the worst place to own a car. 20 over and it's reckless driving.

By now I'm sure you've all read the thread about Hypsi87...140 with your mom and 2 brothers in the car? That's nuts man.

Sorry, I don't mean to preach, but everyone who crashes thinks they're in control right up to the point where things to irreversibly wrong (no disrespect to Hypsi87, I've done irresponsible things too, we all have).

But nice kills, I wouldn't expect a Mazda to kill an SLK and an M3.

Re: Horsing Around...

Yeah i was thinking 140mph too and was enjoyin the smacks to the head as well. My mom trusts me at 100mph, but I wouldn't take it to 140mph with her in the car. That would probably give her a heart attack or something. Regardless, sounds like you had a good time, and saw a hell of alot of nice cars. Good story.

No I still live in London, Ontario but willing to take the trip down to michigan for the meet if anyone decides to go. And as for that se-r comment, what colour is it so I know which one "not" to steal
red in the headquarters parking lot beside the military police =)

Re: Horsing Around...

So, did you kill the M3 and SLK, or did they blow past you, leave you behind, and let you catch up? It wasn't made quite clear how that all turned out.

Even so, I hardly go more than 85 mph with friends in the car unless they are willing. Family is a whole different deal with me, and the speed limit is where it's at when with family.
