my 4 headlight mod quit?? help?

ok i did the mod where you ground 1 wire from under the relay center and it has worked fine no problems at all and just the other night i was driving and the dims shut off leaving only the brights on, they still work by them selves but not together. and the wire is still grounded solid and i soldered it under the relay center. any ideas it sux not having this now.

double check your connections, then check them again...if it still doesnt work, return it to stock, then re do it.....theres not much that can go wrong...except for loose connections

thats what i thought , i will have to pull the relay center back out and checkit when i get some time.

i found the problem, i put a fuse on the wire and it was only a 5 amp and it was pulling to much ground so it popped, i upgaded it to a 10 and its working fine. so i can see clearly again. haha

constructive question.....whats the fuse going to protect....the ground wire is not hot...you cant over ground something or burn something up by grounding it.....id bypass the fuse completely...
