Here's what Tyrell accomplished with clear blue

http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...ht=toyota+sard

Not sure how it'd look on clear parts

Tyrell's wheels have inspired me to paint an entire ITR transparent blue over chrome

As TazDev mentioned, I mixed Tamiya clear Blue and Smoke to get the colour I eventually settled on.

I sprayed it onto the sprue first, in different areas until it dried the colour I wanted.

MX100: I'd suggest you give that a try (Spray onto some sprue to test it). you've nothing to lose (apart from the cost of a botttle of clear Blue Acrylic; if you don't already have it!).

I wondered why my ears were burning...

Aw, I'm touched.

No. Really!!!

It's nice to know that something I've done (No matter how trivial) has given someone else inspiration to try something different themselves...

I hope it works out well, and would love to see the results posted!

Regards
Mark
