Thumbs down integra Dyno Results

had my spuercharged LS dynoed and tryed to tune yesterday....First dyno run was 151whp and 142tq @ 5psi. after leaning out the fuel, i got 166whp and 150tq. This sucks.... Only boosting 5psi because of ported head.

NOW the weirdness..... @ 6300 rpms i get a boost spike of 5psi AND LOOSE 20whp and fuel pressure jumps to 100psi. Any one ever heard of this?? WTF is goin on.

Trying to post dyno runs, but having trouble

Re: integra Dyno Results

assuming this is a jrsc. your boost spike sends you to what boost level and how long? fuel pressure rises during the boost spike @ 6300? what boost levels are you measuring on the dyno? datalog info?

what are you tuning with?

Re: integra Dyno Results

the boost spike is from 6300rpm to 7000rpm boost level from 5psi to 10psi...at 6300 rpm right at the start of the spike fuel pressure rises...not sure of boost levels on dyno... stock ecu, looking into hondata s200 in the next month or so

Re: integra Dyno Results

you are on the JR FMU? remember, the JR fmu is a 5:1 fmu. where is your static and idle fuel pressure at?

you said you tried to TUNE the car. what are you tuning with?

as for the boost levels rising, ive experiened 9psi with my stock 6psi pulley and 11.5 psi with my 8 lbs stepper pulley. even though, with the unexpected increase in boost, i was using hondata. no detonation here.

I HAD A JRSC ON MY SOHC BEFORE I BLEW THE TRANNY AND GOT AN ENGINE SWAP(B16). THE JRSCs JUST DON'T PERFORM NEARLY AS WELL AS OTHER SCs OR TURBOS.THAT'S JUST MY OPINION THOUGH SOME PEOPLE LOVE THEM BECAUSE THEY ONLY WANT A MEDIOCRE IMPROVEMENT ON PERFORMANCE WHICH IS FIN BUT I THINK FOR THE MONEY THEY AREN'T WORTH IT

according to the dynos on JR site, i am above their integras....running on 1 less psi of boost, with a ported head...i know i will see a lot more power once this is solved and im boosting 8psi.
