Making of Ferrari 550 maranello

Hi,
Started this model 2 weeks ago. already got 575 either.
painted body Finisher's pure white. refined shape of air ducts(front/side/left rear) and added original decal on doors.

Used SAS seats, Sakatsu shifter and added high-mount stoplamp.
painted seats, door panel, bottom half of dash light gray. carpet is dark blue and upper half of dash is dark gray.

Superb in white! Especially carrying the theme inside with the white seats as well.
Are you sure about those door decals?

Ach! Beautiful. What's the number/brand of the dark blue paint you used for the interior?

Super in white!
Not so keen on the door decals, though

Everytime I see a post from you, it's the first thread I click on. Great looking Ferrari, I can't wait to see it finished.

I love the white color scheme and matching custome interior work. I'm really looking forward to seeing this one completed . The exterior door graphics aren't my favorite-they look a bit unfinished as they don't tie in w/ other design elements either on the fenders or the rear bumper. I'd be tempted to see what the blue stripe would have looked like if it had originated at the lower corner of the fender vent and went back from there, thus positioning it a bit higher on the door but getting the graphics to complement the 3 dimensional shape. I do like the color/lettering of the stripes. One could spend many hours coming up w/graphic patterns. It takes me forever to decide on color and wheel options. Anyway, I really look forward to seeing this one completed, great job so far.

You´re always the first on the board building new kits. And you´re always setting the standards for future versions of those kits. Once again, impressive work, but as RallyRaider asked: Are you sure about the door panel decals?
