Unhappy Blower motor

Today when I started up my Blazer the blower motor worked fine. Later I went somewhere and it quit working. At the same time the front wipers quit working also. I checked all the fuses and didn't find amy of them blown. I have a 2001 Blazer 2 dr. 4x4. Any ideas on what to look for. Any help would be appreciated as I really don't to take to the local Chevy garage if I don't have to. Past experience with these clowns didn't impress me.

Thanks

Re: Blower motor

You sure you checked all the fuses?

Yes I checked all the fuses. I think I found my problem. Yesterday I wiggled the key around and everything seemed to work. So I have an idea of where to look if I have any more problems. My nephew is an ex GM mechanic and he told me that it can be the ignition switch or there is a switch on the stearing column.

Thanks

Re: Blower motor

I finally took my Blazer to the dealer I purchased it from. They ran the codes and found nothing. They cleaned all the connections, cleared all the codes and everything seems to be all okay.
P.S. I have little faith in my local Chevy garage from previous experience.
