need help before it rains!

i broke the latch on my rear quarter window on my hatch. i ordered the new latch but now i cant get it on. any one know how to put on this latch or at least take off the rear quater completly so i can look at it better?

pretty sure they just have a few screws holding them in. my friend replaced one in like 5 minutes.

ya i got the screws that attaches it to the rear pillar, but i cant get the cap off that attaches the latch to the glass

it's got a "c" clip on it on the inside, use a spreadrer tool or a small flathead screwdriver. I've broke two already.

hmm. i see the c clip, and i wonder if i can get it off with out breaking it. here it goes
