front end pop

i have 2000 silverado z71 and it makes a poppin noise ever now and then but mostly when im turnin. when it pops it fells like something hits my floor board. any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

possibly a ball joint or tierod end also

Yeah, get under the truck and see if you have a cracked cv boot... if so, it's a cv joint.

had ball joints ant tie rod ends checked today both were fine.no cracks in cv joint boots

Mine did the same thing and it was a loose upper control arm!
Took a lot of moving the front end with a jack to figure it out.

figured out what was poppin in my front end. i had it in the shop couple weeks ago havin a front out put shaft seal put in my transfer case and when they put my front drive shaft back in they only put one retaining strap on my u joint and the pop was my u joint shiftin

Popping in Front end

I have a 1995 K1500 and a pop developed today. I only get the pop when the gas is applied. It does not pop in neutral or an idle. The noise gets worse when turning. I have checked to see if any thing is visually wrong but am hoping someone can help.

check your cv boots for cracks, and when was the last time you changed the u-joints?
