this is sooooo upsetting. i've only had my camaro for maybe 6-7 months, and the 4th month i had it, it started acting up. so get this - i'm going down the interstate doing 70, my car completely shuts off. i saw my RPM hand drop, and my mph getting slower... my wheel would not turn, i'm in the left lane.. trying to get over to the emergency lane.. it was terrible.. i have never in my life been so scared. welll.. i had to have it towed, got it towed.. took it to a mechanic, couldn't find anything wrong with it! ran perfect for maybe 3 months.. just recently, i'm going down the road and it shuts off completely again... no steering, no nothing.. so i pull off on the side of road.. open the hood, thinkin' maybe that'll cool it down.. welll... it cranks! and runs maybe 15 seconds and cuts off.. i couldn't get in touch with anyone.. welll, i ended up driving it home. and this is how it acted.. i'd get up to 30 mph, it skips terrible, and tries it best to cut off, so i floor it, get up to 70 and it runs beautifully! not even the dang mechanics can tell me whats wrong... it has brand new everything.. the only thing their leaning towards is the crank trigger. any suggestions that i can offer up to the mechanic? this is a big mess, help a girl out!

Have you run the car for codes? Welcome to AF btw. if it was a 3rd gen i'd say your ignition control module.

Re: even the mechanics can't figure it out!
i'm thinking the fuel injectors are the culprit.

Use some STP! That's what it sounded like too because it would kinda run fine in high speeds.
