420a motor with NOS
I'm looking at buying a 95 Talon N/T with a 60 shot wet kit NOS system in it. The car has about 140,000 miles on it. My first question is can the motor take that much extra power and what parts of the engine should I get checked/replace so that it can handle that power safely?

Re: 420a motor with NOS
140,000??? i would rebuild that engine with new and stronger pistons and rods at least. then go on to replace the fuel pump and injectors. if anybody else got anything to add to that. but i would do those at least.

If you buy it, don't count on a lot of speed with the car. That's why the person put nitrous in it to begin with. Total rebuild of the engine would be necessary if you want any type of reliability with this car, and still want to run the nitrous.

Worthless.....probably beaten to shit. When he advertised it did he advertise nitrous or "nawz"? My guess is the car is in shitty cond.

Re: 420a motor with NOS
I decided not to go with that car. Still hoping to find the "perfect car".
