Some freeway racing!!!..witha92'ser

The day starts out with me catching up with a few friends I havent seen in about 2 months.

One of them who has a skylark, who I've raced, and beat before in other posts but he ust had some better gears, posi, and slicks put on so now he runs mid 13's.... so no more competitive racing with him till my engine swap.

Anyways onto the the other guy has an early 90's 240sx with the sohc ka, and a 5 speed with a bad clutch, and some cat back exhaust.

I get on the freeway, and line up at 60mph which is kind of a shitty point for me to start. We both take off, ad to my surprise I barely pull him until 115mph where I ended up with about 1.5 cars on him. WTF?!?!? I think something must be wrong with my car to be having that kinda trouble or maybe I just don't know about Na ka's?

Later that night going to my friends house form the local donut shop I spot an rsx type-s so being the deprived sad racer I am I pull off my path, and head down the freeway with the rsx that had 2 passengers total.

WE take off from about 45mph (which is great spot for my gearing), and he doesn't pull to much as we carve a few corners at 95mph. Eventually we race with me behind him taking off from around 65mph, and I obviously get left by a bus length or two. Exchange thumbs up, and then I backtrack 4 miles to where I should be

I'm starting to think my car is finnally crapping out on me. I'll hopefully get my sr20det in 6 months or so, but I can get an sr20de engine like mine off a friend for only $75. I was thinking I could pull some parts to help my na sr20 run a little better, or maybe just wait for the new engine.

ppl like you who think "hes got an rsx type s he must want to race every second of every friggin day!!" your the reason I never wanted to take my car to get my gf on a friday night cause I had to race with her riding shotgun and everybody tried to race me!

Nice kill tho, dieing engine and all...id say wait for your SR20DET but buy your buddies SR20D and swap parts as needed...its only $75, it gives your engine longer life, and you get to fool around under the hood

He had his gf in the car too. I try to race anything especially since I've been on a race drought lately. You saying what you did proves rsx guys loves to race "cause I had to race with her riding shotgun" lol
